It all started in 2013. I was only 10 years old and I was already passionate about music. One day, I decided to install FL Studio to try creating my own music. But very quickly, I realized that I had absolutely no idea how the software worked. I was very young and had no knowledge of music production, so I eventually gave up and uninstalled the software.

However, my passion for music never really disappeared. At that time, I was also very interested in lighting and light shows, something I’m still passionate about today, although I’m not as focused on it as I used to be.

A few years later, for my birthday, my godfather gave me an Akai LPD8, a small MIDI controller that allowed me to experiment a little more. I had a lot of fun with it, still without really knowing anything about music production.

After another attempt, I once again decided to give up on FL Studio.

Then came 2018.

With the release of FL Studio 20, I decided to give it another try. This time, I was determined to actually learn. I watched countless tutorials to understand how the software worked and to improve my skills. However, I quickly realized that I was going around in circles without making any real progress.

That’s when I decided to install Discord and join several communities dedicated to music production.

And that’s when everything changed.

Through conversations with other producers, advice from the community, and countless hours of experimenting, I started learning extremely quickly. I eventually realized that the passion I had put aside for several years was becoming much more than just a hobby:

It was going to become my career.

In 2020, I released my very first track on SoundCloud: FREE, a Tropical House track featuring a rather unusual flute… but surprisingly, that track ended up helping me get noticed.

At that time, I was producing music under the name TBF Music.

From there, I started creating music relentlessly, sometimes making two or three productions a day. My goal was simple: constantly improve, experiment, learn from my mistakes, and become better with every track.

Then came 2023.

I decided to create a second artistic project: LEGA6.

With LEGA6, I wanted to step outside my comfort zone and explore styles that were different from what I was used to producing. The first track I released under this new name was called Fly.

At the end of 2023, I also decided to leave FL Studio. I no longer felt the same passion for the software, and I had the feeling that I was constantly going around in circles with my productions.

So I made another major change in my journey: I switched to Ableton Live 11.

I started by converting my FL Studio projects so I could keep working with ideas I had already created. And then, something clicked.

I discovered a completely different way of producing music, and I immediately found that feeling of learning and progressing that I had been looking for.

Eventually, I realized that I could use Ableton Live just as comfortably as I had used FL Studio.

After a few attempts, a few installations and uninstallations — because yes, my transition to Ableton wasn’t exactly immediate — I finally found the environment that worked for me.

Today, I produce music with Ableton Live 12 Suite, and I’m particularly proud of the projects I’ve created with it, including Better Now, I Can’t Let You Go, I Hear the Call, and many more.

Today, LEGA6 is mainly focused on Melodic Techno and Techno, two genres that really speak to me and that I absolutely love exploring.

But if I’ve made it this far, it’s not simply because of the software or the equipment.

It’s because of one thing above all:

I never gave up.

I’ve always worked hard to improve, even when I felt like I wasn’t making any progress. I changed software, changed my methods, started over again and again, but I never gave up on my passion.

And today, I keep creating, learning, experimenting, and most importantly, having fun making music so I can make you enjoy it too.

The journey won’t always be easy. Sometimes you’ll feel like you’re not improving, that you’re not good enough, or that you’re simply going around in circles.
